Los Angeles SLAM WIN Their First ABA Preseason Game of 2009 In Front Of 1500 Plus Crowd

The Los Angeles SLAM defeated the California Beach Ballers on Saturday night in front of a crowd of 1500 plus fans. It was a close game that went into overtime. The Los Angeles SLAM was victorious and won by 5 points. This was the first ABA preseason game in 2009 for the Los Angles SLAM and California Beach Ballers.

The California Beach Ballers hosted this event and put together this star studded charity event that was filled with celebrities. The Saturday night extravaganza started off with entertainment provided by a very talented dance team and music was provided by a professional DJ. There was a Celebrity Basketball Game that followed which included ex NBA players Sean Rooks, Byron Russell, Oden Polynice, and Tony Farmer. There were other professional athletes represented from the NFL and WNBA. The Los Angeles SLAM's Hip Hop Superstar " The GAME " and another SLAM player who is also the rap artist "XO" from Black Wall Street Records showed their support by playing in the celebrity basketball game. There were also other celebrities from the movie and film industry that played in the celebrity basketball game. This was truly a community event. The celebrity basketball team took on the Ontario Police Department and the Honorable Mayor of Ontario, California attended the basketball game and addressed the crowd.

The evening was topped off with a pro basketball game which featured two great teams from the American Basketball Association (ABA), the Los Angeles SLAM and California Beach Ballers.
