Welcome to the home of the Los Angeles SLAM Pro Basketball Team of the (ABA) American Basketball Association. The American Basketball Association was founded in 1967 to 1976 and has a long tradition of exciting and professional basketball. Hall Of Fame players like Julius "Dr. J" Erving, George "Ice Man" Gervin, David "Skywalker" Thompson, Artis Gilmore, Moses Malone, Dan Issel, Connie Hawkins, and other greats played in the ABA. In 2000 the ABA was recreated and now has 60 professional basketball teams across the United States set to play in the upcoming 2009 ABA season. The ABA is the fastest growing professional sports league in sports history. The Los Angeles SLAM is the only professional basketball team in the United States whose teams members consist of world famous hip hop artistes, actors, entertainers, and top notch pro basketball players. The Los Angeles SLAM is flowing with a wide variety of talented team members and is committed in carry on the tradition of the old ABA by providing exciting and professional basketball to all fans.
